About Us
Educate and Empower Organization is a community-driven and registered non-profit organization under the Community Groups Registration Act No. 30 of 2022 with a mission to transform lives through education, empowerment and advocacy in Kabondo Kasipul, Homabay County.
Our Work
We work closely with students, youth, women, schools, community organizations, volunteers, and development partners to create meaningful opportunities that transform lives, promote sustainable development, and empower individuals to become catalysts for positive change within their communities.
Our Approach
Across Kenya, poverty, educational barriers, youth unemployment, gender inequality, digital exclusion, and environmental challenges continue to limit opportunities for many communities. EEO addresses these interconnected issues through community-driven programs that promote education, empowerment, inclusion, sustainable livelihoods, and positive social change.
Our Areas of Impact
Education Support
Our work includes mentorship programs that support the continuation of education for students,
payment of tuition fees for economically disadvantaged students and promotion of access to
learning resources.
Digital Literacy
Our work is to equip individuals with skills
needed to access information, communicate effectively, and gain access
to better skills and livelihood opportunities through digital literacy and digital tools.
Youth and Women Empowerment
We empower youth and women with the skills and
opportunities to gain employment or entrepreneurial grounding.
Advocacy and Rights
The program’s goal is to strengthen communities’ voices, skills, and participation in advocating for
policy and resource priorities in the areas of gender equality, human rights, governance, health, peace, sports for development and environment.
